1.To
begin configuring NT 4.0 for STI, go to your
My Computer icon.

2.Double click the Dial-Up Networking
icon.
3.You will see the following screen, although
the entries may be blank if this is your first
time configuring NT 4.0.

4.If you wish to create a new entry, click
the New button.
5.You will see the following screen:

6.Enter a name for the entry. (STI is a great
choice!)
7.Click Next.
8.You will see the following screen:

9.Check all three boxes.
10.Click Next
11.You will see the following screen:

12.Enter the local phone number that
you will use to dial us. Check with your telephone
company to be sure it's a local, toll free
call for you!
13.Click the Use Telephony dialing properties
checkbox.
14.You will see the following screen:

15.If you are dialing outside of your area
code, enter the appropriate area code where
asked.
16.Click Next.
17.You will see the following screen:

18.Select Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP).
19.Click Next.
20.You will see the following screen:

21.Select None unless you'd like to
log in manually with a terminal window.
22.Click Next.
23.You will see the following screen:

24.The IP Address should remain 0.0.0.0.
Even if you have a static IP address, the
STI server will assign that IP address to
you whether you enter it here or not.
25.Click Next.
26.You will see the following screen:

27. Enter 64.118.98.89 as the DNS Server.
28.You do not need to change the WINS Server.
29.Click Next.
30.You will see the following screen:

31.Click Finish. You have completed
configuring Win NT 4.0. Please continue to
learn how to dial into STI.
Dialing
1.To dial NT 4.0 go
to your My Computer icon.

2.Double click the Dial-Up Networking
icon.
3.You will see the following screen:

4.Click Dial. 5.You will see the following
screen:
6.Enter your STI username (all lower
case) and your password (case sensitive).
7.Leave the domain field blank. 8.Click
OK. Microsoft NT's dialer will dial
STI, verify your username & password, and
connect you to the Internet. Enjoy!
