Setting Netscape Communicator 4.5 to automatically load the STI Home Page and setting up Netscape Communicator Email:

1. After the Netscape Communicator has started click Edit on the menu bar at top of the browser.
2. When the drop down menu appears click on Preferences. You will see the following screen.

3. Under Category, if the Navigator title isn't highlighted, click on it.
4. Under the Home Page heading, in the Location box, type http://www.sierratel.com

Setting Up Netscape Communicator 4.5 Email:

1. After Netscape Communicator has started, click Edit on the menu bar at the top of the browser.
2. When the drop-down menu appears, click on Preferences, and this window will appear:

3. Under Category, double-click on Mail & Newsgroups. The following screen will appear:



4. Under Category, click on Mail Servers and the following screen appears:



5. Under the heading Outgoing Mail Server, in the box labeled Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server type mail.sti.net
6. Under the heading Incoming Mail Server, click on the add button on the right. The following screen will appear:



7. In the box titled Server Name: type mail.sti.net
8. In the box titled Server Type: use the down arrow button on the right and then select POP3 Server
9. In the box titled User Name: type your username
10. Click the box remember password (if you want the password remembered each time you check mail.)
11. If you want the program to check for mail, click the box Check for mail every..., then enter how often you wish it to check with the mail server for new mail.
12. Click the OK box at the bottom of the screen.
13. You will have returned to the Preferences window, click the OK box at the bottom of the window. You are ready to send and receive mail using Netscape Communicator.
