L'Aventure Rose L'Aventure - 2005 - $16.00
Light, melony pink in the glass, with a very fresh, fruity nose of strawberry, honeydew melon, and grapefruit. On the palate, the alcohol is noticeable, but not unpleasantly so.  A really satisfying rosé.

Cakebread Cellars - 2004 - Napa Valley - $42.00
Our 2004 Napa Valley Chardonnay offers fresh, lovely pear and ripe Granny Smith apple aromas with supporting mineral, baked bread and baking spice scents. Full and richly textured on the palate, the citrusy crisp, spiced-apple and pear flavors are enriched by yeast and toasty oak tones that extend into a very long, rich, minerally finish. Youthfully compact, with superb structure and an ideal balance of fresh fruit, acid and wood tones, this beautiful Napa Valley Chardonnay, one of Cakebread's very best, should develop in the bottle for another 3 to 5 years.
Carpe Diem - 2003 - Firepeak Vineyard - Edna Valley - $24.00
On the nose, there is a bright bouquet of citrus evolving into flavors of pear, honey and apple notes. This steely chardonnay has a creamy texture which is completed by a long rich finish. The 2002 and 2001 have very similar characteristics – both are bright and racy vintages. The wine is refined and elegant and has an ageing potential that will develop slowly.
Chalk Hill - 2002 - Sonoma - $43.00
Dark yellow-gold, with mature, rich, concentrated and generous flavors built around ripe pear, yellow apple, cream and apricot. Toasty, mocha-scented oak washes through the harmonious finish.
Chateau Montelena Chardonnay Chateau Montelena - 2004 - Napa Valley - $39.00
Montelena’s typical bright yellow-gold color. Aromas of very rich Chardonnay dominate the nose, while green apple, melon, citrus (grapefruit) combine for a very nice mélange that contributes complexity. On the palate this Chardonnay has a nice soft entry leading to a round, full-flavored impression of fruit, melon and citrus rind. It is elegant and balanced: supple, yet with crisp acidity. This wine is a classic Chateau Montelena Chardonnay of strong yet fresh fruit flavors, elegant and refreshing, stylish with bold balance.

EOS Estate Winery "Cupa Grandis" - 2001 - Paso Robles - $40.00
Serve slightly chilled with striped bass in avocado sauce or apricot-stuffed chicken breasts. Enjoyable now, it will improve with proper cellar aging for three years, and mature gracefully for up to eight years.

Rated 94 pts by Wine Enthusiast (March 2006) as Top Chardonnay for 2003. Greenish-gold in color, the wine is fruit-driven and aromatic with an understated impression of oak to lend greater complexity.

The Hess Collection Chardonnay The Hess Collection - 2004 - Napa Valley - $23.00
The 2004 Hess Collection Chardonnay exhibits its signature of proprietary flavors and crisp acidity that originate from the vineyard plantings of a unique blend of seven rootstocks and nine hand selected types of musque chardonnay. This spice rack of chardonnay shows in the aromas of guava, pineapple and orange blossom. Rich and lush, the palate of flavors of pear and vanilla are balanced with nice acidity and evolve through the finish.
Hess Select Chardonnay Hess Select - 2004 - California - $15.00
Tropical aromas of pineapple, green apple, and lemon with a hint of vanilla give way to ripe pear, peach, and pineapple on the palate. The wine finishes bright, crisp, and refreshing.
J. Lohr - 2003 - Arroyo Vista Vineyard - $23.00
The 2003 J. Lohr Arroyo Vista Vineyard Chardonnay is a youthful pale yellow color, with aromas of lime custard, grapefruit, apple and wet stones. The Burgundian winemaking techniques, including alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrel with lees stirring and extended aging, contribute a complex bouquet of toasted hazelnuts, honey and vanilla, with a very complex and elegant mouthfeel, making it well-suited to complement roasted chicken or cream-sauced pasta dishes.
J. Lohr Estates "Riverstone" Chardonnay J. Lohr Estates "Riverstone" - 2004 - Monterey County - $14.00
Attractive, youthful, brassy yellow color. The fresh aromas of lime zest, pear, nectarine and apple, combined with the butter, caramel and vanilla bouquet. The flavors are very clean with citrus, pear and apple-nectarine with subtle butter and toasty vanilla, producing layers of complexity with an excellent balance of fresh fruit acidity and palate weight.
Les Pierres - 2002 - Sonoma Valley - $36.00
Crisp, clean and always Grand Cru elegant, with essence of delicate green pear. With time in the glass, the flinty wet stone aroma takes over, coupled with overtones of rich, yeasty Champagne. The mouth is lush and ripe, yet at the same time firmly structured. The finish is Grand Cru Les Pierres … firm, crystalline and mouthwatering.
Mastantuono - 2000 - Paso Robles - $12.00
Lighter, crisp chardonnay. Barrel aged but with a light oak flavor.
McWilliam's - 2004 - Hanwood Estate - Australia - $10.00
Lifted melon and grapefruit aromas with subtle cashew characters complemented by well-integrated oak Well structured wine showing intense ripe melon and citrus fruit flavours, supported by cashew nut and bacon rind oak characters. Drink now or within the next two years.
Midnight Cellars - 2004 - Central Coast - $14.00
The color is a beautiful straw and the nose is an amazing array of tropical fruits, minerals, green apple and spice. The mouthfeel is crisp and the flavors are complex with green apple, honey and vanilla mingling with a mineral essence. The wine was barrel fermented and aged sur lie for 11 months in all French oak, 25% of which was new. Approximately 25% of the wine went through malo-lactic fermentation and is a 50/50 blend of Midnight Estate Chardonnay and Edna Valley Chardonnay. The firm acidity will aid in the ageability. This wine will pair well with a variety of foods, including seafood, salads and cream-based dishes.
Murphy-Goode - 2003 - Alexander Valley “Island Block” - $18.00
Island Block is Murphy-Goode’s estate Chardonnay vineyard located on the banks of the Russian River. Its gravelly bench-land soils in combination with the river’s cooling influence make for a distinctive style of fruit that define Island Block Estate Chardonnay. Packed with concentrated fruit flavors, this Chardonnay demonstrates the intensity that results from mindful farming and creative winemaking techniques.
Olivet Lanet - 2003 - Russian River Valley - $19.00
The wine was aged for ten months in French oak. It carries classic Burgundian notes of mineral, flint and wet stones evolving into hints of toasted bread crust. The mouth is rich and full-bodied with firm acidity, and the lingering finish is long and seamless. This wine tastes great now and will develop an outstanding bottle bouquet in the next 3-6 years.
Presidio - 2004 - Santa Barbara County - $19.00
Friendly combination of fruits, with noticeable hints of the 13 months spent is small French Oak barrels. Refreshing on the palet. Very smooth finish.
Scherrer - 2002 - Fort Ross - $26.00
This wine is extremely generous and complex, somewhere between the 2001 vineyard designate and the small 2001 reserve bottling shown last Spring. It should age and develop well for quite a number of years. 400 cases produced.
Tolosa - 2003 - Edna Valley - $19.00
Polished and balanced, this beautiful Chardonnay is laced with flavors of Asian pear, nectarine and honey. Just the right amount of acidity with a supple toast that lingers to the delightful finish. Pairs well with sautéed or grilled fresh halibut with a nectarine cilantro salsa.

Pinot Grigio

Attems Pinot Grigio Attems - 2004 - Collio, Italy - $21.00
The wine’s aroma suggests smoky pear with a spicy overtone. On the palate, the wine is supple and smooth, medium to full bodied with mineral depth to lend interest to the smoky fruit. Match with a pasta dish that incorporates a touch of cream and sautéed shrimp or salmon.
Donna Cristina - 2004 - Italy - $12.00
A surprisingly fresh and character-filled Pinot Grigio. On the nose the wine is lively with notes of apple and pear followed by a clean, soft, fruity finish that never loses its vibrance. Spectacular!
Fossil Creek - 2004 - Paso Robles - $12.00
Light on the nose. Classical taste of the Pinot Gris fruit, with a smooth finish.
MacMurray Pinot Gris - 2004 - Russian River Valley - $20.00
MacMurray Ranch Russian River Valley Pinot Gris shows fruit and flowers in the front palate, with a voluptuous texture and substantial body. Rich aromas of fig, peach, pear, and tropical fruits evolve into a smooth, lingering finish. Pair this wine’s richness with sautéed scallops, soft-shell crabs, lobster, foie gras or highlight its bright acidity and elegance with linguini and fresh clams or al pesto.
Maso Canali - 2005 - Italy - $19.00
This is a very good year, comparable to the renowned 1997 vintage. The summer days were very hot but the nights were very cool. Maturation of the grapes was later than usual, and hand harvesting took place at the end of September. A well-rounded body with floral aromas and ripe fruit flavors, mineral characteristics, hints of wood and well-balanced acidity. A long, smooth finish.

Harmony Cellars - White Riesling - 2004 - Paso Robles - $11.00
Distinct honey and peach aromas. The finish is a clean crisp citrus spice. Try serving with a spicy peanut sauce!
Kuhl - 2004 - Germany (Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region) - $11.00
This Kabinett has an intense golden color. Scents of flowers and citrus on the nose are followed by crisp flavors of lime, honey and slate all balanced out by a bright acidity and lingering finish full of fruit and stone. The perfect sipping wine alone or with a variety of dishes.
Plantagent Riesling Plantagent - 2004 - Mount Barker, Western Australia - $15.00
Brilliant pale straw in color. A floral and fragrant aroma with classic lime. A crisp and refreshing Riesling. A splash of lime hits the palate and is followed by an array of zesty citrus fruits. The finish cleanses the mouth and leaves you wanting more.
Trefethen - 2004 - Oak Knoll District - Napa Valley - $17.00
Enticing aromas of jasmine are first to greet the nose, followed by an alluring citrus perfume. The sweet scent draws you in, but the palate is wonderfully crisp, dry and refreshing. The flavors of citrus, floral and spice complement the bright acidity into a beautiful finish that is consistent year after year in this rare Napa Valley dry Riesling.

Alban Vineyards Viognier - 2005 - Central Coast - $22.00
Alban is the first American winery and vineyard established exclusively to produce Rhône varieties. We set out to introduce wine grapes that would offer oenophiles a new world of possibilities. Pioneering Rousanne, Grenache Noir, and Viognier to go along with meticulously selected clones of Syrah, Alban Vineyards has guided consumers (and other producers) to the enormous potential of "California Rhônes."
Bargetto Gewürztraminer - 2004 - Monterey - $14.00
The welcome return of the off-dry Gewurztraminer has been eagerly anticipated by many. This year we were able to secure several tons of grapes from the premium Monterey County grower, Schied Vineyards. The resulting wine is pure Gewurztraminer. It has a spicy nose with lemon, honeysuckle, and floral notes that are mirrored in the mouth. The 2004 vintage is slightly less sweet than previous vintages. Even so, it still has a healthy 1 gram per liter of residual sugar.
Barreto Cellers Verdelho - 2004 - Lodi - $15.00
Crisp acidity highlighted by aromas of honeysuckle and passion fruit make this easy drinking wine a great choice as an aperitif or the perfect accompaniment to spicy Asian, seafood or chicken.

Cakebread Cellars Sauvignon Blanc - 2005 - Napa Valley - $27.00
Cakebread's interpretation of this wine is a classic expression of the varietal, with aromas of fresh pink grapefruit, mineral, and stone fruit. On the palate, the flavors mirror the aromas. Refreshing and lively fruit acids with hints of mineral, gooseberry, melon and grapefruit all contribute to this wine's overall crisp impression. The wine's lovely fruit intensity and subtle vanilla oak notes carry into the clean, persistent finish.
Justin Sauvignon Blanc - 2005 - Paso Robles - $15.00
Meyer lemon, orange rind and fresh cut grass aromatics make this wine scream acidity. The entry has crisp tropical fruit flavors that flow into a soft, round, concentrated mid palate. The natural acidity in this wine creates a balanced, clean, layered finish.
Louis Jadot White Burgundy (Chardonnay) - 2004 - Pouilly-Fuissé - France - $23.00
The wine shows a green-gold color, and delicate aromas on the nose that are disarmingly seductive. On the palate there is a round and full herbal fruitiness that complements the crisp acidity leading to a satisfying finish.

Murphy-Goode Sauvignon Blanc - 2002 - Alexander Valley - $18.00
Special lots of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Musqué are selected from Murphy-Goode’s estate vineyards in Alexander Valley for this wine. The Musqué clone contributes rich tangerine flavors and viscosity to this fully-fruited wine. Reserve Fumé is barrel fermented for 8 months to deliver a high intensity wine with a long, memorable finish. - $23.00

Ovene Winery Pinot Blanc Ovene Winery Pinot Blanc - 2004 - Santa Maria Valley - $15.00
Our Pinot Blanc is a lighter flavored white wine with citrus, melon, pear, apricot and a mineral undertone combined with mild acidity.  The finished wine was blended together with a touch of Muscat Canelli to add a note of honeydew and balance the fruit characters.
Robert Hall Viognier - 2005 - Paso Robles - $18.00
Featuring honeysuckle, orange blossom and sweet spice aromas, our inaugural vintage of Viognier displays stone-fruit flavors of apricot and white peach with a burst of mango tropical fruit flavor and a hint of tangerine. Medium-bodied and refreshingly dry with a balanced crisp acidity.
Truchard Vineyards Rousanne - 2003 - Carneros - Napa Valley - $25.00
This not-so-well known white varietal of the Northern Rhone has been traditionally blended with Marsanne to make white Hermitage wines. It is a challenging grape in both the vineyard and winery. However, when done correctly, it can produce a delicious, aromatic wine with the structure and finesse to age. A delicate nose of lemon zest, pineapple, and honey; accented with honeysuckle and vanilla. The mouth is rich and creamy – with flavors of honeydew melon, green apple, and fresh pear.

Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millenaires - Blanc de Blanc Champagne - 1995 - France - $106.00
Harmonious and rich, this has softened somewhat to reveal a smooth texture and vibrant structure that frames maturing flavors of brioche, hazelnut, ginger and mineral, an intriguing mix that remains focused and persistent through the long finish.
Gramona Cava Gramona Cava - 2000 - Spain - $23.00
A great value in sparkling wine from Spain, the 2000 Cava “Suite,” an attractive blend of Chardonnay, Xarello, and Macabeu, is from a family owned winery with total control over their vineyard sources. This serious effort reveals excellent bread dough and grapefruit characteristics in a light to medium-bodied, surprisingly flavorful format with well-defined pinpoint bubbles as well as a crisp finish.
Heidsieck & Co. Monopole Diamant Bleu Champagne - 1995 - $120.00
Minerals and yeast dominate the aromatic profile of the 1995 Diamant Bleu. A rich, broad, buttery wine, it is light to medium-bodied and reveals flavors reminiscent of toasted, buttered nuts. Notes of lemon drops as well as ripe apples appear in its long, silky finish.
Heidsieck & Co. Monopole Diamont Blanc Champagne - $95.00
This 100% Chardonnay champagne is delightful from aroma to finish. Light citrus on the nose, followed by slight butteryness on the palate. The finish is lasting and refreshing.
