DSL (Digital Subscriber Line)

Whether you're a small or home business, a telecommuter, or a consumer, you can use DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) services to deliver multiple forms of data, voice, and video at high speeds over your existing telephone lines.

Because of DSL's "instant on" service, you do not need to dial STI each time you wish to connect to the Internet...you're already there! In order to be eligible for DSL, you must be located within a certain distance from the central telephone office; otherwise the signal degradation is too great and DSL is unfeasible.
