Configuration for Windows XP
Step
1: Click on Start, click on Control
Panel, and double-click on the "Network
Connections" icon. (If you are using Category
view, click on Network and Internet Connections,
then click Network Connections.)

Step
2: Right-click on the "Local Area
Connection" icon and choose "Properties.”

Step
3: Double-click the component named
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) as seen below.

Step
4: Make sure "Obtain an IP address
automatically" and "Obtain DNS server
address automatically"are selected in the
Internet Protocol TCP/IP Properties box .

Step
5: Click OK, click OK again, and close
the Network Connections window.
Step
6: If the computer prompts you to restart,
click Yes.
