Configuration for Windows 95, 98, Me
Step
1: Click on Start, point to Settings,
click on Control Panel. Double-click the Network
icon.
Step
2: Double-click the component named
TCP/IP ->Your Ethernet card.
Step 3: Make sure "Obtain
an IP address automatically" is selected.

Step 4: Click the DNS Configuration
tab (see yellow dot). Make sure Disable DNS
is selected.
Step
5: Click the Gateway tab (see green
dot). Make sure the Installed Gateways window
is blank.
Step
6: Click OK, and then click OK again.
Step
7: If the computer prompts you to restart,
click Yes.
