Configuration - New Addresses

to configure an existing email address.)
If
you are adding a new STI address and using
Outlook Express 5 or 6; follow the instructions
below. If you are using another email program,
be sure to use the following incoming and
outgoing mail server.
Incoming: mail.sti.net
Outgoing: smtp.sti.net
Step
1: At the top of Outlook Express,
click Tools.
Step
2: Click Accounts.
Step
3: Click Add.
Step
4: Click Mail.
Step
5: The display name is what other
people see when you send email. Type your
name as you would like it to appear, then
click Next.
Step
6: Type your full email address (for
example: name@sti.net) using all small letters
and no spaces, then click Next, as seen below.

Step 7: Type in the mail
server names (use all small letters) as shown
below. The incoming is mail.sti.net (A) and
the outgoing is smtp.sti.net (B). Click Next.
Step
8: Your account name will populate
automatically. Type your password in the password
field, then click Next.

Step 9: Click Finish, then
close the Internet Accounts window.
Repeat these steps for each new email
address. If you’ve installed the DSL
equipment, filters and configured your email
address(es), you’re nearly done! Lastly,
