Troubleshooting
Initial Installation
First, check the lights on the DSL router. The Power
light should be green. The DSL/ACT should usually
be amber. The LAN lights should be amber or green.
A. If the Power light is not on, check the off/on
switch at the back of the router and the electrical
connection.
B. If the LAN light is off, make sure the Ethernet
cable is securely plugged into the Ethernet port on
the DSL router and the Ethernet card at the back or
side of your computer.
C. If the DSL/ACT light is off, make sure there are
no splitters or filters on the phone cord that runs
from the phone jack that the DSL service is on to
the DSL port on the DSL router.
